Inside ApollyCon 2025: Frayed Pages x Wattpad Books Takes the Stage

Earlier this month, Frayed Pages x Wattpad Books joined the incredible romance community at ApollyCon 2025 in Washington, D.C.—and we’re still buzzing from the energy!

Our team was on-site for an unforgettable panel, "The Rise of New Adult Romances and the Wattpad Authors Who Write Them," featuring three of our imprint’s rising stars: EM Wilson (Situationship), Pia Mia (Sands, Sequins & Silicone), and Tay Marley (Meant for Me). The panel was moderated by none other than Anna Todd, #1 New York Times bestselling author and founder of Frayed Pages, who led a powerful conversation about love, identity, and growth in today’s New Adult romance landscape.

From discussing the transition from online storytelling to the traditional publishing world, to diving into the emotional honesty that defines the genre, our authors shared their experiences with a packed room of passionate readers. The energy was electric—and the connection between authors and audience was undeniable.

After the panel, the authors headed to Anna Todd’s booth for a book signing that had fans lining up to meet them, get their books personalized, and snap a few photos. It was a heartwarming moment of celebration—not just of the books themselves, but of the voices shaping the future of romance fiction.

**Rising Star E.M. Wilson’s Second Rom-Com, Breakup For Two, Slated for Spring 2026 Publication**

FRAYED PAGES MEDIA FOUNDER ANNA TODD PRAISES WILSON’S “UNIQUE AND SOULFUL” VOICE

[Los Angeles, March 2025] – FRAYED PAGES X WATTPAD BOOKS, the co-publishing imprint founded by New York Times best-selling author Anna Todd, has acquired Breakup For Two, the latest spicy romantic comedy from E.M. Wilson.

The acquisition comes on the heels of pre-empt subrights sales for E.M. Wilson’s debut novel, Situationship, including the UK & Commonwealth (Orion), Germany (DTV), and audio (Tantor), with other territories currently in negotiation.

Slated for release on May 19, 2026, Breakup For Two follows two complete strangers, Liem and Bri, who bond when they both get dumped publicly in the same restaurant. With Wilson’s signature wit and steamy storytelling, this sizzling and swoon-worthy rom-com is poised to captivate fans of authors like Tessa Bailey, Talia Hibbert, and Kennedy Ryan.
